  • Work with a remote Bolivian community on a sustainable project

All of our expeditions are completely tailored to your needs – if you’re undecided about where to go, just call us, we love sharing ideas. The world really is your oyster!

  • Experience a very different culture

Teams can spend a couple of days in La Paz, a unique and exciting city set high in the Andes. Wander the colonial-style streets, visiting museums as you go, and have lunch in a local eatery to get a taste of the Spanish influenced cuisine. The Witches’ Market is not to be missed. Here you will find anything from souvenirs and handcrafted goods, to folk remedies and fortune tellers!

  • Explore a new landscape

Trekking in Bolivia provides an abundance of options. The ability to combine very different terrains in one trek creates a truly unique experience. In the high Andes teams can trek in the Cordillera Real mountain range, following ancient Inca pathways with an experienced local guide before dropping down into the cloud forest of Yungas. Alternatively, teams can explore the stark but beautiful Sajama National Park, passing Guallatire, the only smoking volcano in the area.

  • Be part of a global community

In the remote Bolivian villages, teams can immerse themselves into the local culture and make a real and lasting impact on the communities they meet. Previous projects developed with the local community have included helping on sustainable agricultural projects, and repairing community and school buildings.

  • Learn something important

Lake Titicaca offers a fascinating insight into Bolivia’s Inca history, and what better way to learn about it than on a boat trip. Once deemed the origin of the sun and a sacred lake to the Incas, in more recent years artefacts have been found in the lake that hint at Bolivia’s rich past. Spend a couple of days exploring the incredible Uyuni Salt Flats and learn all about this incredible landscape with its never-ending horizon!

What to expect

  • Terrain

Mountains, cloud forest, Amazon jungle and high-altitude plateaus - the variety in terrain provides plenty of options to explore Bolivia’s beautiful landscapes on foot.

  • Culture

A rich combination of indigenous and Spanish traditions mean that festivals, food and architecture are just a few of the elements that define Bolivia’s colourful and diverse culture.

  • Weather

Summer is the dry season in Bolivia meaning mostly sunny days and cooler temperatures, perfect for trekking and exploring.
