Growing up surrounded by horses and open country, Colette developed not only a deep love for these incredible animals, but also a keen love for adventure. Colette is passionate about hiking, running, and trail riding through forests and mountains. She pushes herself beyond her comfort zone to achieve goals that many would think are unachievable.   She uses this passion to inspire others to achieve great things. Colette has competed for South Africa internationally, was President of SAQHA, and is currently the National Coach and a Senior Judge for RPHSA.

Being a director of one the largest Education Groups in the Country, allowed her to gain a welfare of knowledge in education.  Her journey in Education focussed on travel and tourism where she helped develop learning programmes and national qualifications. Her love for travel and adventure has seen her explore many countries and assist so many young adventurers on expeditions all over the world.  When asked why she does it, her answer is simple, “Developing our youth to explore their true potential is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.”
