Kathryn has built a career around adventure, exploration, and youth empowerment. With years of experience in both planning and leading school expeditions, she has taken teams to some of the world’s most remote corners — from three months above the Arctic Circle to summiting Kilimanjaro and trekking through Bhutan and India.
A former paramedic, Kathryn brings a wealth of medical experience to her role, alongside her expertise as a qualified diving, sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking instructor, having taught water sports all over the world. Africa holds a special place for her, with countless journeys spent exploring its wild landscapes, from climbing Kilimanjaro to leading safaris and diving off the East African coast.
She is equally passionate about the life-changing impact of overseas youth travel, believing deeply in its power to build confidence, resilience, and perspective in young people. When not championing the benefits of expeditions, Kathryn can be found scuba diving, on safari, walking with her dog Nala, or planning her next journey to far-flung destinations.
